In 1961, Heinz Kapraun turned his passion for the oldest and most natural upper material in the world into a career and founded a small but brilliant leathermanufacturing company in Großostheim near Frankfurt. Our high-quality range seems to reflect the zeitgeist now more than ever before,’ states Armin Graeser, Managing Director of Kapraun. ‘Just as haute cuisine is currently experiencing an upswing, there now appears to be a demand within the market for high-quality hand-crafted workmanship.’ For its anniversary year in 2011, Kapraun is aiming to considerably expand its market share in home markets such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This new positive development will be supported by continuous dynamic growth in Eastern Europe and Asia.
